Frequently Asked Questions | Before Your Appointment | After-Care
Following these important after-care instructions will aid in extending the life of your lash extensions. The first 24 hours following your application are most crucial.
- Care must be taken not to rub your eyes or pull your
lashes. Be careful when using any creams, lotions, or cleansers containing oils.
Any oil-based product can loosen the bond of the lash
extension. It is recommended that an oil-free eye
makeup remover be used when removing other eye makeup.
- Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
- For 12 hours up to 2 days after your lash extension application, do not allow water to contact
lashes.
- Do not use a lash curler. It will break both the lash extension and your natural lashes.
- Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face. Always pat dry lashes after cleansing.
It is not necessary to wash your lashes.
- If Mascara is applied, comb the mascara thru the
lashes so no clumping will occur.
- Do not pull your lash extensions, doing so will not only cause you to lose the extension, but your natural lash as well.
What happens if a lash should loosen or become dislodged?
Do not pull on the lash. Using an olive oil or any oil soaked microbrush you can safely remove the individual lash
or lashes by gently rubbing the lash with the microbrush. This method only works for lashes that are already loosened. If more than one lash becomes dislodged, please contact Toni
at 323.702.4279 to make an appointment to have them removed or replaced, to avoid damage to your natural lashes. |
